Keywords:
cognitive development, types of memory, concentration of attentionAbstract
This article analyzes the characteristics of cognitive process development in preschool children, particularly age-related features of memory, attention concentration, and thinking speed. The study reveals the mechanisms of the formation of children’s cognitive abilities based on modern neurophysiological and psychological-pedagogical approaches. The article describes the emergence of different types of memory in children aged 3–7, changes in attention concentration over time, and the acceleration of thinking operations. Quantitative and qualitative indicators of cognitive processes for each age stage are presented, along with practical recommendations for pedagogical practice. The article is intended for educators, psychologists, and administrators of preschool educational institutionsReferences
